Do I need planning permission to put scaffolding up in Preston Docklands?

How long can I keep the scaffolding, and what if the job overruns?
Our fixed price includes a standard hire period, in line with the UK norm of 6 to 8 weeks, and covers transport, erection and dismantling. If your works overrun, a weekly extension rate applies, and it is stated on the quote from day one. Where a management company has approved the scaffold for a set window we track that alongside the hire period and extend both together if needed.
Is your scaffolding TG20 compliant?
Yes. Our standard tube and fitting scaffolds are erected to TG20:21, the NASC design guidance recognised by the HSE, and we can produce a TG20 compliance sheet for your configuration. Exposed dockside elevations sometimes need sheeting loads or tie arrangements that fall outside standard TG20 scope, and in those cases the scaffold gets a bespoke design from a competent designer before erection rather than a guess.
